My current project is another diversion from Templar Fantasy. This one is a comic/romantic period piece written out of admiration for the works of the English playwright and novelist Henry Fielding. His comic novel, Tom Jones, a Foundling, published February 28, 1749 was classified as a Bildungsroman (German) novel or a coming-of-age story that focuses on the psychological and moral growth of the main character from the careful status of adolescence to the more somber or responsible status of adulthood. If you are really, really acquainted with the novel, Tom Jones, you might quickly discern the similarities and differences between my latest work and that of Mr. Fielding.
If you are not familiar with the classic novel, it is not necessary in order to enjoy my novel, which I hope will be coming out in the next month or so for Kindle and then on to Smashwords and paperback.
I’ve chosen the following image to build a cover and I believe it will convey the idea that the book is a period piece. I do hope my fans will give it a try and let me know what they think of my attempt to honor Mr. Henry Fielding.
